We take data protection very seriously and treat your personal data confidentially and in accordance with legal regulations.
Definitions of the terms used (e.g. “data subject“, “data controller“, “personal data” or “processing”) can be found in Art. 4 of the GDPR law, applied in the European Union.
You can basically use the Abundant Health website without providing any personal data. However, if you would like to use special services on our website, processing of personal data could become necessary. In this case, we generally obtain consent to do so.
Name and Address of the Data Controller
The person responsible within the meaning of the General Data Protection Regulation or other data protection laws applicable in various countries is:
Lundenburger Straße 57
We, the website operator, collect data about access to the website on the basis of our legitimate interest (see Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f. DSGVO) and save them as “server log files” on the website server. The following data is being logged:
- Visited site
- Time of access
- Amount of transmitted data in bytes
- Source/reference from which you came to the page
- Browser used
- Operating system in use
- Used IP address
Server log files are stored for a maximum of 30 days and then deleted. The data is stored for security reasons, e.g. B. to be able to clarify cases of abuse. If data has to be kept for reasons of proof, they are excluded from deletion until the incident has been finally clarified.
The log files are also used to make statistical evaluations. The anonymous data of the server log files are stored separately from all personal data provided by a data subject and are not evaluated for any form of user tracking.
If you leave a comment on our website, you can give your consent to save your name and email address in cookies. This is a convenience feature so that when you write another comment, you don’t have to re-enter all of this information. These cookies are stored for one year.
If you have an account and you log in to this site, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.
When you log in, we will set up some cookies to save your login information and display options. Login cookies expire after two days and display options cookies after one year. If you select “Keep me signed in”, your login will be remaining active for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be deleted.
The data subject can prevent the setting of cookies by our website at any time by means of a corresponding setting in the Internet browser used and thus permanently object to the setting of cookies. Furthermore, cookies that have already been set can be deleted at any time via an Internet browser or other software programs. This is possible in all common internet browsers. If the data subject deactivates the setting of cookies in the Internet browser used, the functions described above will no longer work.
Embedded Content from Other Sites
Articles on this website may contain embedded content (e.g. Youtube videos). Embedded content from other websites behaves exactly as if the visitor had visited the other website.
We use AddtoAny to provide social share buttons on our websites. If you use these buttons, the respective social networks will receive information about which page you have visited. This action then behaves in the same way as if you had visited the page of the respective social network. As long as you do not post a share on a social network, no information is shared with them.
Subscription to our Newsletter
On our website, users are given the opportunity to subscribe to a newsletter. First name, email address, IP address, user agent string (this is used to identify the browser) and the date and time of registration are saved. This serves as a legal safeguard in order to be able to document your consent to the subscription. The collection of this data is also necessary in order to be able to understand the (possible) misuse of the e-mail address of a data subject at a later point in time and therefore serves to provide legal protection for the data controller.
For legal reasons, a confirmation e-mail will be sent to the e-mail address entered by a data subject during registration, using the double opt-in procedure. This confirmation e-mail is used to check whether the owner of the e-mail address, as the person concerned, has authorized receipt of the newsletter. Only after authorizing with the click of a link, further communication will be sent to the data subject.
The personal data collected as part of registering for the newsletter are used exclusively to send our newsletter. The personal data collected as part of the newsletter service will not be passed on to third parties. The subscription to our newsletter can be canceled by the data subject at any time. The consent to the storage of personal data that the person concerned has given us for sending the newsletter can be revoked at any time. For the purpose of revoking consent, there is a corresponding link in each newsletter. It is also possible to inform the data controller of the cancellation in another way.
The newsletters contain so-called tracking pixels. A tracking pixel is a miniature graphic that is embedded in e-mails that are sent in HTML format to discover whether an email was opened. This allows a statistical evaluation of the opening rate of our newsletter to be carried out. This statistical information is used to improve our offers. We also analyze the opening of links in newsletters for statistical purposes.
Comment Feature on the Blog
In the blog, which is located on the website, there is the option of leaving individual comments on individual blog posts.
If you leave a comment, we store the data shown in the comment form, as well as your IP address and user agent string (used to identify the browser) to help spam detection.
The IP address is stored for security reasons and in the event that the data subject infringes the rights of third parties or posts illegal content by submitting a comment. The storage of this personal data is therefore in the own interest of the data controller, so that he could exculpate himself in the event of an infringement.
If you contact us via the contact form, we log the form data, IP address, user agent string (this identifies the browser) and the date and time of contact on our server. This is used to track any unlawful requests. Otherwise we only use the data you have transmitted once to process your request. The same applies to any other forms that are not described above and may appear on the website.
Rights of the Data Subject
As a user, you have the right to request free information about what personal data has been stored about you. You also have the right to have incorrect data corrected and the processing of your personal data restricted or deleted. If applicable, you may also exercise your right to data portability. If you believe that your data has been processed unlawfully, you can question us via the communication channels on the contact page and, if necessary, you can log a complaint with the competent supervisory authority.
Deletion of Data
If your request does not conflict with a legal obligation to store data (e.g. data retention), you have the right to have your data deleted. Data stored by us will be deleted if they are no longer required for their intended purpose and there are no legal retention periods. If deletion cannot be carried out because the data is required for permissible legal purposes, data processing will be restricted. In this case, the data will be blocked and not processed for other purposes.
Right to Object
Users of this website can exercise their right to object at any time to the processing of their personal data.
If you would like a correction, blocking, deletion or information about the personal data stored about you, or if you have questions regarding the collection, processing or use of your personal data, or if you would like to revoke your consent, you can use all options for communicating with us that are located on the contact page.
